Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Migurei (“Migurei”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operated by HBLab JSC, collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your information when you use our AI products and websites (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy applies to the following applications:

M-RAG (Migurei AI Assistant) — a conversational AI assistant that lets you ask questions and receive AI-generated answers, similar to ChatGPT or Gemini. m-rag.migurei.ai
M-Trans (Migurei Translation) — an AI translation application that translates files stored in your Google Drive / Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) while preserving the original formatting. m-trans.migurei.ai
M-Meeting (Migurei Meeting Assistant) — a meeting assistant that provides real-time translation and live subtitles, records meeting audio, and generates AI summaries and action items that remain searchable. m-meeting.migurei.ai

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information. When you sign in (including via Google Sign-In / OAuth), we receive basic profile information such as your name, email address, and profile picture.
Content you provide. Prompts, questions, messages, uploaded files, and documents you submit to the Services for processing (for example, text you ask M-RAG about, or files you ask M-Trans to translate).
Google user data. For M-Trans, with your explicit authorization, we access files in your Google Drive that you select for translation. See Section 3 — Google User Data below.
Usage and device data. Log data, IP address, browser type, device information, and analytics about how you interact with the Services (e.g., via Google Tag Manager / analytics).

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the Services;
Process your requests — generate AI answers, and read, translate, and return translated documents;
Authenticate you and secure your account;
Improve, troubleshoot, and analyze the performance of the Services (using aggregated or de-identified data where possible);
Communicate with you about support requests and service updates;
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Google User Data

M-Trans requests access to your Google account only to the extent necessary to provide its translation features. The Google permissions (scopes) we may request include access to read the Google Drive files you choose and to write the translated output back to your Drive.

What we access: only the specific files you select for translation, and the Google profile/email used to identify your account.
How we use it: we read the selected file’s content, translate it using AI translation providers, and create or update the translated document. We do not access files you have not selected.
How we store it: file content is processed transiently to perform the translation and is not retained longer than necessary to deliver the result (see Section 6). We do not build advertising profiles from your Google user data.

Limited Use disclosure

Migurei’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

We only use Google user data to provide and improve the user-facing features described in this policy.
We do not sell Google user data.
We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we first obtain your affirmative consent, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the Services, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to users.

4. AI Processing and Third-Party Providers

To generate answers and translations, the content you submit may be sent to trusted third-party AI/LLM providers that process it on our behalf solely to return a result to you. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data and not to use it for their own purposes beyond providing the service to us.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers / subprocessors who help us operate the Services (e.g., cloud hosting, AI/translation providers, analytics), under confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
Legal compliance when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users;
With your consent or at your direction.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Services and for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. File content processed for translation and prompts processed for AI answers are retained only as long as needed to deliver the result and are then deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and the principle of least privilege. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to promptly address any security issues.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Access, correction, and deletion. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
Revoke Google access. You can revoke our app’s access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions page.
Withdraw consent. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

9. International Data Transfers

We operate from Vietnam and Japan and may process your information in these or other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal data.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
